In 1982 Georgia DOT treated a dirt road with 4" of expanded asphalt.
Eighteen years later the road has a triple surface treatment on top of the expanded asphalt base from 1982 and supports logging trucks through the Okefenokee Swamp area in Ware County. Now with modern equipment, we can duplicate the success of this section of road. |
