"I wanted to take the time to let you know I appreciate your company’s effort on the Streets of Buckhead Project. I also want to highlight Mr. Terry Peavy and Mr. John Johnston Sr. for their safety effort on the project. Terry and John’s “can do” attitude was well received by this writer. Terry and John’s day to day coordination effort with other subcontractors as well as working through construction issues has set a great example for our project. As you might remember I challenged Blount Construction to be the example not the rule for our project. Through all of your company’s efforts and as exhibited by Terry and John you have excelled at this challenge.
I have been in the construction industry for over 33 years and worked with many site contractors throughout the country and I consider your company among the best I have worked with on a project.
I believe one should recognize good team and individual effort as quickly as some do with criticism when issues arise. You and your company should feel fortunate that they have men like Terry and John representing them on the project. We look forward to your continued effort and successful completion of your portion of the work on the Streets of Buckhead Project. Please pass on my thanks to Terry and John for a job well done and feel free to share this with all of your company associates."

"Blount's Full Depth Reclamation process [FDR}, as well as your Expanded Asphalt Application, has worked wonders on projects that would have cost more than double with a standard application. Years later the asphalt is still holding up perfectly under enormous loads."
- Erika A. Plumer, Senior Property Manager, Spectrum Cauble Property Management Services
"One of the greatest side benefits of this (FDR) procedure was the ability to have traffic on the expanded asphalt within a few hours of its placement. This allowed the tenants to continue with their normal course of business throughout the project."
- Timothy S. Hackett, General Manager, MainStreet at Town Center, URBAN Retail Properties Co.
"Blount has taken on jobs that could have become nightmarish and handled them with the utmost professionalism. We are extremely pleased with all facets of your crews work. Expanded Asphalt is a cost effective way to build roads that will last well beyond just patching and resurfacing. We especially love that we can do construction while the road remains open to traffic."
- John Indrunas , Construction supervisor, The City of Roswell Georgia
"Blount's field personnel worked with us in a very professional manner and were always on schedule. The fact that (our customer) the city of Gainesville is adding the reclamation process to their annual schedule is a tribute to the work your company has done for them"
- Keith Faust, Vice President Northside Area Manager, ASHLAND. APAC-Southeast, Inc.
"Yes, we are sold on Blount's operation and their product. We have used this reclamation on rural and curb and gutter sections and haven't had to go back to do repairs. This is a plus and a savings over the years when you calculate the paving cost in today's economy."
- William T. Skinner, Engineering Manager , The City of Covington, Georgia, Engineering Department
"I would like to thank you and your associates for the recently completed Edgefield County Roadway Rehabilitation Project that we completed together in South Carolina. These roads are performing fantastically! The county and its citizens are very pleased with the finished project, this process has become the standard for their roadwork, according to their county engineer."
- Greg B. Beam, President, Beam's Contracting, Inc.
"Foamed Asphalt Full Depth Reclamation was selected over traditional asphalt patching methods due to its competitive cost and the increased strength of the road base which we feel will result in a longer lasting road. Another reason for the selection of foamed asphalt [FDR] was that the road was able to remain open to traffic (although restricted) throughout the FDR process. Oconeee County looks forward to working with Blount Construction Company on future foamed asphalt full depth reclamation projects."
- Dan Wilson, PE, Assistant County Engineer, Oconee County Board of Commissioners, Public Works Department
"Blount Construction using FDR with injected foamed asphalt was able to complete the job in a timely manner with no road closing and limited traffic delay. Comparing the conventional method of Remove and Replace to Full Depth Reclamation [FDR] the cost of the conventional method was approximately 45% higher."
- C. Larry Wilson, Director, City of Canton Georgia
